A-Team by Ed Sheeran caught my ear during warmups in cjazz last night, it reminds me so much of one of my favourite songs - Beautiful Disaster by Jon Mclaughlin. Go listen (: Watched the MV, it made me feel really sad and sombre after watching it so if you're in a happy skippy mood I don't suggest you watch it right now.
Fell in love with the photo above when I saw it. I'm a huge sucker for beautiful sunsets by the beach, and it's photos like these that remind me of Christmas Island, Tioman, and East Cost /Sentosa beach trips where we sit at the breakwater HTHT-ing with occasional lapses into silence, picking seashells, or floating belly-up in the water and drifting off into semi-consciousness. Like a dead person. Okay the last line ruined the whole perfect imagery didn't it.
I'm slowly counting down the hours to the next time I can finally lather some shampoo into my hair. It's oddly torturous, especially since I've gotten into the routine of shampooing every time I bathe, and I bathe twice a day. Reading all sorts of articles about hair care now, apparently overly frequent shampooing dries your scalp out and prompts it to secrete more oil - which in turn makes you feel like you need to shampoo even more. At least that explains why my hair isn't swish-worthy for commercials. And also why it always looks ridiculously flat. Some quotes from a few articles:

Was so worried that all my besties would be flying off to faraway lands :( Okay well I do have some besties that are going to be disappearing off to the UK and I'm srsly srsly srsly gonna miss them like crapsicles I don't even wanna think about that right now, but I also admire them for choosing to pursue their interest despite the whole leaving-a-life behind thing. Remember to Skype me!!!!!! Hahaha Skype is the only applicable verb I know cos I'm a computer dinosaur. #fail
I have backdate blogging to do but that can wait. Was gonna sleep before 11pm today but then there was too much hyped-up texting /calls /facebook statuses /twitter updates going on for that to happen.

Twitch is sooo good with the kids, too cute for words!!! I think it's a tad silly that little Rosie tags along with Sophia Grace all the time when she barely does /says anything noteworthy, but every star needs a sidekick right? And who knows, she might grow up to be some pretty star and then we'll see all the cereal-spitting posts on 9gag hahaha.

So I used to think Instagram was a little overrated, especially since PhotoEffectsStudio exists. If you haven't heard of PEStudio you should go check it out. It's got all the perks of iPhoto (saturation /exposure /contrast editing) and picture filters and frames like Instagram - in fact, it actually has more than Instagram. The only additional perks Instag offers are the blurring function and the convenience of uploading shares to Facebook /Twitter. Plus I wasn't really a fan of the way Instag crops all the photos into a square shape.
Anyway, since there's been all this hype about Facebook buying Instag for 1b, I decided it wouldn't hurt to breathe a little life into my dying - or dead, actually - Instagram account. So if you do follow me on Instag, I apologize for the mini-slew of random posts. Was trying to see if it's cooler than I remembered it to be.
Verdict: I'll use it once in a while for the cool blurring function. Still think it's too mainstream, I'll stick to PEStudio. Been using it for months now and it still has yet to get boring (:
Decided to resume watching Leverage! On the sixth episode of Season 4 now. Yes this is my first weekend in a long while that I decided to keep completely and utterly free (unless you count Friday night sleepover) - needed some down time hehe.
Oh and I saw this on Facebook. I remember hearing about the famous red-light district from the Top Model cycle where their international destination was Amsterdam (Cycle 11 I think), and while I find it a teensy bit too tacky, I still think it was a very impactful and ingenious way of getting the message across.
